Will, I saw those on a Jeep saturday walkin out of Sam's and had to google them. Thats the 3rd option in the poll actually. Its a toss up between them and the Toyo OC, but I hated the fast wear on them when i had the 285/70/17, but that was 5 yrs ago so maybe wear is better? :hmm:

    Those tires are gay.

Those tires are the mother of all gay.

Vano out of what you have in the poll I'd go BFG AT's or I'd go with nitto terra grapplers. They last a long time.

im gonna have to agree. your truck is lifted. you don't want highway terrains or off brand a/t's. bfg A/T's and terra grapplers both last a really long time. Donut dan(my friend stephen) has 325/60/18 (34.6) terra grapplers that he's had for over a year now and they're about 40% tread and he does alot of highway driving. same with my dad he has 35" bfg a/t's on his cummins(heavy truck) and he does 60 mi. round trip to work every day plus some when he feeds cows and they're doing fine.

sorry for the stories just trying to put in some real world situations

That doesn't make any sense. How would a soft M/T last longer than an A/T?
The biggest thing I've heard is to make sure they get rotated every 5000mi or so, guys rock them over 50k all the time.

I didn't even think to check NTG. I like that 275/65/20 size, and the price is damn good.

i'm tryin to reduce the width of the tire, so a 325 series is no good. and most 35's come 12.5/13.5 so thats no good either. the reason for a narrower tire is to reduce the amount of friction on the pavement, along w/ reducing some tire weight, should result in a substantial (for a truck atleast) gain in mpg w/out losing the large tire height.

yea yea, just was considering a semi aggressive hwy tire since i drive 100 hwy /day.

thats the same problem i had w/ mine 5 yrs ago. rotated regularly but barely got 40k IF that.

Thanks all... I think I am gonna go w/ those Nitto Terra Grapplers, in a 275/65r20 series. That gives me a 34.1x11 tire. It will also be about 23lbs lighter per rim which means two things: A) i should gain some mpg since its not taking so much energy to turn a lighter tire; and B) these 4.30 gears are going to RIP these tires w/ ease if I ever feel the need to light her up. I'm wonderin if I would perform better in the sand for that fact too... :hmm: should be next month when I pick the new set up. just rotated so i'll wait til this balance wears off. THANKS! :waytogo:
