    That maybe be true but everything else for diesel including gas is more expensive right? How many miles u get a tank and how big is your tank?

    you shouldn't be looking at cost of gas vs. diesel, you should be looking at cost per mile.

    $3.42 / 12.5 mi = $0.27 per mile in gas
    $3.69 / 23 mi = $0.16 per mile in diesel

    Out here where I'm at prices are a lot different.

    REG- $3.61
    MID- $3.71
    PREM- $3.81

    Diesel- $4.15

    So the splits on your area are a lot different than mine. Either way we all love our SD's!!!!!
