this guy took a stock throttle body and ported to the most it can be and put a bigger butterfly valve in it. hes askin 150 for it and a spectre air filter. pics: for it being ported it allows more air to flow easier. what do yall think about it? the guy claims he got 20mpg at 65mph. his truck was custom tuned....is this good or BS?
i see those mpgs with my 4.6 with only a cai.. and doing 70-75 in it too. It may help a little, but duno if i would spend 150 on it
^ya know I was thinking about that too...I would need to upgrade all of the pipe and MAF to flow more...I have an extra 90mm MAF from a lightning layin around...but even so, would it all help? probably not worth the 150.
I don't think so.... If you read the mustang forums the throttle body is the last mod to go on, usually with a supercharger. If you haven't already done everything (full exhaust, LTH, intake, cams, tune) then it's not going to make a difference.
