what do you guys think of a frame swap like take my 2wd truck and swap my cab onto a wrecked 4x4 frame i have the skill but do it, but you think itll be worth it cause i think itll be cheaper than buying a new truck i mean just the cost of the truck (around 1k-1500) and other misc parts so probably a total of 1700 and a week to do it seems pretty do-able to me just give me some input of what yall think

Me and 2 buddies have done have done a frame swap in about 3 days, only working on it about 8 hours a day. This was a s10 though. It is a ton of work but its straight forward and not hard to do.

yea thats probably the truth but i can recoup some money by parting out stuff i wont need anymore like the lift spindles i can get 200 for them and other suspension parts so i think it would end up being dirt cheap to do it so ill probably do it this summer when im out of school

If you can get it done. Go for it. I would run/check all the lines and such on the 4x4 frame before dropping the body and stuff on. Clean it up and what not.
