I am doing research on the .17HMR and getting ready to build one. I want it to be a finishing nail driver. Lol I was wondering if anyone on here had any experience with one. J.Wal
Ur a failure, it dosnt say .17HMR or something close to it......... J/k, the magnum is close to the 17, not quite as flat or as accurate at 100 yards, but has good knock down power. J.Wal
my buddy has one, they are pretty spot on at 150 yds, gonna depend on what you are using it for, we had his sighted for 100 yds then took it squirrel hunting and the average shot was under 30 yds so it wasnt the most efficient i prefer the ole 10/22 for target shooting, for the fact of the price of ammunition between the two
I don't have one, but my dad has a friend with one who let me shoot it. that is a good round.. very accurate and flat shooting. had it sighted in at 100 yards and it hit just barely low at 150yards
Very nice shooters. I shot one with a bipod and thumbhole stock. Super accurate Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
I have a savage model 93 in .17HMR. Great gun I have it sighted in at 100 yards with a BSA sweet 17 scope I have shot targets with it out to 300 yards. Shoots very flat very accurate. My only complaint about the round is that the wind pushes it around bad at ranges greater than 100/150 yards.
My roommate has a marlin bolt action 17. Fun little gun, he shot a hog with it at 75 yards and dropped him. Very accurate and fast. Well built gun in my opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I knew the wind causes issues. I haven't decided weather to start with a ruger 77/17 or a savage for a base build. I want to do a lilja bull barrel and a aftermarket stock, then have the action and trigger worked. J.Wal
