    Well I got my codes read today and it came up with o2 sensors and random/mulitple misfire. So im hoping that today after I change my plugs itll run alot better. And not having stock exhaust would cause the o2 sensors to throw codes, correct?

    If you have cats, the SES light shouldn't be on. Wait until dark and look under hood with truck running. Take a spray bottle with water and spray coil pack and plug wires. Look for blue arcs. If you don't see anything, then plugs are the most likely cause.

    If you still have the stock cats your 02 sensors might be going bad also. I'd do plugs first and go from there

    Well i got the plugs changed and 2 out of 6 looked bad to me.. So ima see how she does this evenin. And if she still dont run right its prolly got sumthin to do with the o2 sensors their self or the cats wouldnt yall say so too?

    The little I drove it yeah. I only let it stay like that for a day or two. It also seemed to run hotter too.

    Spark plugs didnt fix anything... Sadly... Im going to use supercrewzns water method tomorrow night to check plug wires and all.. And if the plug, plug wires, and coil packs are good. What would I check next?

    And Id like to clear the o2 sensor code... Any idea where to start with fixing that one?

    My buddy was tellin me that his ranger had clogged cats and it
    made his ranger run like ****.. Could that be my problem too? I was thinking about guttin them out with a water hose maybe... What would be a better choice first changin the o2 sensors or guttin the cats?

    And the hose going to my gas tank is loose and has a small leak when u fill it up slam full could that be part of my problem too?

    I really need to get this shat fixed bc idk if im jus noticing it running rough more often or if its jus gettin woree but i need help asap!!

    Unless you know someone with a code reader you can't clear the code. AutoZone and Advance won't clear them, they'll just tell you what they are.

    As far as the cats being clogged, that's a possibility, but usually when they're clogged it runs awful. Yours sounds more like a miss or something. If you can get by with gutting them do that, if not O2 sensor is your best bet. I can't gut mine, we have emissions.

    I'd go ahead a repair the hose to your tank just out of safety.
