Okay so the whole point of any lift is to lower the suspension from the body enabling more clearance for bigger tires. Then when you put bigger tires, it picks you up off the ground giving you ground clearance. A BL and SL will have near the same ground clearance with the exact same wheel and tire combo on the same truck most of the time. A body lift is cheaper and if your not climbing rock walls or go over a lot of uneven grades of hills and dont care to show a LITTLE bit of frame, a BL will do fine. Now if you need flex or travel, get a suspension. THIS is why I like my SL. This is not all the way flexed. PLEASE correct me if im wrong on anything!

Ummm if It didn't have a 8" susp lift you can bet your Lilly white Azz I would.

There are several people who have no idea what there talking about in regards to BL's.

Big'un that truck will look hawt when you get it done

 

so does the truck need the lift to clear the claws? That wasn't really stated. (I have no issue with BLs, just wondering)
