how would a loose wire send a signal to start it though? maybe something is messed up internally in the brain of the system.

My buddy had the remote start. He said its the biggest pos ever. Why not go outside and start it by key? I swear remote start is made for lazy people. I just get in my truck and go.

Lol. Ummm no it's not. I would kill to have one. My friend Britt has one and has had one for about 4 years and never had a problem. It's really nice when it's 15 degrees out to crank that thing a out 30 min before you pull out. Same during the summer when it's 100 degrees with 100% humidity to get some cool air flowing.

Now back on topic. I Rembrr this happening to a customer back when I was At best buy. Britt is a certified tech for this stuff. I will call him today for you and see if he knows. I can't remember but it's something to do with the module.

    How is this post helpful?

The only think I can say for it just starting, is that the module got a start signal from somewhere. I never had one so, I don't know how they get plugged into the system.

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
sounds like the module went bad, and in doing so gave the truck a crank.
