I got my new black heads in today, I am currently swapping them out and have hit a snag. The rubber seal that the main headlight bulb seats against on the new heads doesn't sit flush with the plastic like the stocks do and I can't get the bulb to seat deep enough to engage the plastic tabs. I thought I'd post and see if anyone else has ran into this. Maybe I need different bulbs since there 04-08 and mines an 08...or their simply crap built and I'm out 80 bucks!!...lol

Disregard.... I used a little more muscle than I think It should have taken to seat them and they went in! I was worried about breaking somthin if I used to much force. I supose it's expected with cheap foreign parts hu. O well there in now and look great even if I do say so myself!...hahaha

fog lights in my audi were like that. Got some cheap DDM hids for it, and they didn't want to twist into the housing, same problem you had. Had to file the little fins down a tad on the bulb to get them to seat.

Thanks all! I'm not sure bout the light production, I took it out for a short trip in the dark and the light seemed to be tattered with shadows, all broke up and not as full and smooth as the factory heads?? They look awfully good so I'm not gonna be to fast to say they gotta go but time will tell. I'll just have to get some dark miles in to see how I really like them??
