saw this the other day. i would love to have OEM bedlighting when i get a new truck.

Although, I would rather see it in a line spread across the underside of the bedrails rather than a couple spots along them.

I'm sure they'll perfect it before releasing it to the masses. It would be a nice option, hell for even what new XLT's sell for they should come on all F-150's with maybe the exception of the XL's.

    I agree.

Also, with the cost of doing this yourself, they better offer it cheap or it wont be worth it IMO.

Yeah if they only offer it as an option on the Platinum then screw it, the average F-150 owner will just buy their own and do it, and most likely have a better performing light then Ford would use.

Hopefully this will be a 300 - 400 dollar option, anymore and no one will pay it IMO. I know I wouldn't.

I honestly dont know if i would pay even $300 for it, seeing as i could get it done for probably around $100 at a shop.

Yup, I think J.Wal has a bed lighting kit if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure once Ford was to offer something like this there would be a ton of companies that make the equivalent or better for half the price. It's usually hard to be aftermarket upgrades.

Exactly. Well at this point, all we can do is wait and see what they have to offer.

I figure they will. Chevy is about to drop a new 1500, so Ford has to create some buzz on their current model.

Yep, im wondering when they are going to release their updated model for 2013. And I'm even more curious for what the 2015MY has to offer.
