I'm pretty sure its weigh, and my truck weighed 5500lbs last time I checked so that is almost 3 tons.

ok so 1998f150wes got me thinking should i just do my truck as a DD for its life than i can just by toys? what im thinking is 4X4 frame tcase and a 6" lift 37" tires and than just rebuild every thing accordingly or should i stick with my regular plan of doing a sas? either way im getting a jeep first so i will still have someting to drive while i do either of the choices... i think ill get more use out of it with the 4X4 frame... if i do go this way i will eventualy get an older f250 and build it high with huge tires for a mud truck... UGH it sucks having plans but also having no money

OK guys what is the best cheapest way to etch aluminum factory wheels so that I can paint them a strong acid wash? How well dose self etching primer work? I'm ready to get my wheels painted so I can put on my 295's

clean the wheels real good, use a light grit sand paper, self etch primer and 2-3 coats of your color of choice :peace:
