Ok as a new member here(although I thought I was already a member, oh well) I know I shouldn't be asking for Photoshop help. But the only reason I ask is to convince my father into letting me store another project, which would also be my first pickup; in the hopes that he likes my ideas. Plus I can barely use windows paint let alone Photoshop. So I politely ask for your assistance. I'm looking at a 1973 2WD F350 but this pic of a '71 was the best I could find http://brauchauto.com/images/71f350.jpg Can you lift it enough to put semi wheels/tires on it, tool box under the bed in front of the rear wheels, duel stacks even with the cab(diesel conversion), and maybe if it is tall enough put a semi style diesel tank under the door? these are just some of my ideas, they might work and they might not. But I want to show that the truck won't just be sitting around. I greatly appreciate the help!
Are you planning to have a flatbed on the truck? I can take this on (will take a little time). Are you looking for a good amount of tread with the Alcoas? Or do you want a lower profile tire? Regular cab, or extended? And any specific truck color? As i will look for pics close to what you're looking for to make it work.
Thanks to both of you! As far as my ideas, yes the flatbed will stay. And because this truck is a 2wd and I'm not sure how easy it would be to convert it to 4x4 I'm kind of leaning towards the "hotshot, pull anything" type of truck. So regular semi tread will work. The regular cab will also stay(although it would have been nice if they made extended cab DRW trucks back then) and I was kind of thinking about red for the color but I haven't thought that much about it yet so you can make it whatever you want. And again Thank You!
damn now thats an order lol. id like to see a photoshop as well. welcome to the forum by the way. post up an intro!
with that many mods in store, it wouldn't be hard to swap in a DRW axle under any truck you wanted. (If you even needed the extra width since you are running a flatbed) I wouldn't restrict my search to factory duallies if you have that extensive a mod list in store.
You could SAS it up front, to give it 4x4 capabilities. Depends if you want to put forth the work. I'll get started on the chop in the AM.
