so basically whenever the battery dies on my truck and I go to jump start it, I'll have problems. I can try to start it once and if it doesn't start I can remove the key and the truck still continue trying to start. All on it's own at random times. Interior lights and radio will flash then click click click click as it tries starting with a battery that still doesn't have enough juice.

it makes jump starting a pain in the ass. Any ideas?

Battery and charging system is vital to newer trucks. Everything on them depends on it working right.

The battery is less than a year old. This is actually the first time I've killed the new battery. I was working on the truck last night and forgot the key on all night.

West, are your basically saying its normal for this to happen?

it sounds crazy, do you have a remote start or alarm system? could be messing with that.

^Makes sense to me. Low voltage on the alarm is making it flash the lights and mess with the ignition system. After market alarm tap in to practically everything. Did you have your lights on or something or did it just die randomly?
