I thought electronic shift on the fly was just that, you shift while driving? Might as well have manuals and have to get out and lock em. I mean am i missing something?
it was my work truck...so i bashed the hell out of it! hit some curbs, 4-lo seeing how fast it would go (Brendon can attest to it i was telling him about it when i did it) jumped it, hit a fense..the list goes on and on.
It won't shift.I have tried in my 06 before I broke her.Only thing that happens is the 4LO light come on,that's it.But yer not actually in 4LO if you do it on the fly.... Hey Vano, call me when you get a chance, got a question about my Saturn....
yeah for some reason, in my dads truck you can be slowly moving, throw the truck into neutral and shift into 4-lo. i don't know why you have to stop on the electric shift
thats idiotic to me. shift on the fly should allow you to go from 2wd to 4wd, hi or lo, w/out stopping. i mean, sometimes you need that momentum to carry you through. and having to stop to put into 4wd seems like defeating the purpose, unless it was only made so that people didnt have to get out to lock their hubs. but what do i know, i'm just a 2wheeler i'll call ya around lunchtime Backwoods
