I've been considering trying to sell the Bedrug in my truck and picking up either a plastic liner or a rubber mat for the bottom, Bedrug advertises how tough it is but i'm still not sure if i wanna haul stuff like gravel with it, and the issue i have is that when it gets wet and i put the cover back on without letting it dry i end up with a mildew smell in the bed, anyone have any thoughts?

NOOOO dont get a bedrug, I had one in my SCAB. the only way its useful is If you have a tonneau or a canopy and youre not going to haul anything dirty, mine had the whole bed bedrug deal that went all the way up to the tops of the rails. Looks nice if you want a show truck, save your money and get a spray in, or save even more money and get a drop in. Drop in is way better than a bedrug IMO

i already have the bedrug, it came with the truck, otherwise i would have never bought one, i'm not getting a spray in liner, it would cost way too much considering what my truck is worth, besides my future goal is for a custom built flatbed, maybe i'll put it on CL for trade and see if anyone bites

Well since you don't want a spray in I would just go with the rubber mat. It's probably cheapest and it will come out easy so you can take it out and clean under it. The plastic liners are good at causing your bed to rust out.
