rigids are pure white so if you want to match hid's to rigids then i'd suggest a 55w 4500k. im swapping out my 6k heads to 4500k's
Alright thats exactly what i wanted to know. Another question what type of bulb? im looking at this ddm tuning.

Hey as long as every body i drive buy wont flash there lights at me cause they think that i have my brights on im cool with it. But what was the difference between 8k and 10k. 10 is to bright maybe?
No 10k is not as bright as 8k. 4300 os the brightest and as the number goes up, brightness goes down. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
^ | | | | thats right dude, anything over 6k is gay and useless, 10k's belong on a civic, we have one of the best recomended 6k hid kits in my gfs cobalt, and you cant see crap when driving in heavy rain, and you really cant see that far down the road, id get somethin functional that will actually benifit you, if i were you id run between 4-5k lights
Agreed ^X2 10k is blue... don't go over 6k. even 6k is a little too blue. you said you wanted to match to a rigid dually i'd say get a 4500k hid(ddm doesn't make 4300k) and since your truck is lifted it's very important that you aim your headlights down. way down. mine are correctly aimed down and i don't ever get flashed
