It cost a little over $4,000 under the hood, it was going to be alot more but Swamps Diesel gave me one heck of a deal once i got down there and picked my stuff up so i cant complain!! The stuff i done to mine will eventually happen to any diesel 6.0 or 7.3... at 150,000 miles (i think) on a 7.3 its recommended you replace the injectors and a few other things. For a 6.0 its 100,000 miles so it was due for that, the turbo on the other hand i could not help the fins were tore all to pieces which that can happen on any diesel if trash goes through the turbo..

Diesels are money pits everything cost soooooo much more to fix BUT once you fix them (and their problems 6.0) and keep the maintenace up on them they will last forever!

Since i replaced the turbo ,injectors, and glow plugs its ran PERFECT i also added a tuner and it helped the truck out alot.

Oh i know there money pits, lol.N hell i must be getting lucky with my 7.3.No serious issues yet and i'm at 287K.Again like i said before,i just replaced the turbo cause the seals were shot and i didn't feel like tearing apart the turbo and putting new seals in it.

Ya i have mine tuned also. But more on the conservative side. However i have been thinking about opening her up and getting new tunes and see what she can do:hmm:

I have the 200/30% injectors with a 6 setting custom tuned chip by swamps diesel performance. I'll tell ya that with the tranny mods make is truck one bad motherplucker. On the highest selling this some ***** turns these 40's. I can pull up by a ricer and whip his ass in a race if I wanted to. Fuel mileage is actually better than my 150 was with the chip on the mpg tune.

The 6.0 isn't a bad motor at all. It's all the people that don't keep up with it that cause problems. And they have fixes for the common problems.
