I used a 3M pinstripe remover to get all the adhesion off. Took like 35 minutes total. After you remove it, you're most likely going to need to polish the area.

Its easier to do it if the molding is warm

I've done it, Supercrewzn has done it and several others. There's nothing to it as long as you're patient when pulling it off.

The pinstripe remover wheel is the easiest and fastest way to do it. I did mine in less then an hour. :peace:

It's made for pinstripe removal, but I've used it for removing the gummy mess left after removing trim. It basically works like a giant high speed eraser. All that's left to do is buff the area back out and you're done.

3M decal and trim adhesive remover works GREAT as well. Kinda pricey, but the stuff is pure magic, and one can goes a long way. We've used it on my roomates B4000 tons of times when he switches decals and there hasnt been any damage to his paint.
