In FL it just has to be a two step process, for example, i can keep my gun loaded and chambered in my vehicle so long as it is in the glove/ console and in a snap holster. The sheriff that talked to my unit suggested that we purchase snap holsters that allow you to fire the weapon holstered. Of course that suggestion was "off the record".

I could keep my rifle loaded with the action open and safety on. A cop pulled me over in fl and told me.
