Build Thread: Project "Softball Mom"

Got a little more done today...

Went to Riverside Auto Slavage today and picked up a new door for the build...


Also started on the sub enclosure as well this is the side it will be on...


And here is the mock up so far. I have a ways to go and am going to have some custom embroidery on the leather I am wrapping around the enclosure...


And with the sub mocked in...


Also going to have some custom embroidery on the door panels and headrests. I also found an engine and trans I am going to pick up. I think I can sell the trans for what I have in the whole combo and then I will be able to get this thing on the road. Lift should be in HOPEFULLY soon. Then to order a set of tires and wheels for it.

 

Sweet progress. Makes me wanna dig into my truck for some reason..

Thanks all. It's starting to come along. I am going to work on the sub enclosure tomorrow some more. Try to get it at least in a wood frame, then I can start glassing it in. I need to also figure out where I am going to put the amp... I think I am going to try to work it in behind the access panel for the jack.

Ok made some more progress on the sub enclosure today.. Still have to trim and fit in the truck but at least it is starting to look like something..LOL

Getting pieces glued together....


So far so good. Left the radius peice long to act as a support on the floor. Worked out great!
