It's makes a difference. Every truck I've done it on it always increased throttle response. My dad's 04 Lariat has 210K on it and we did his a couple of weeks ago and it felt like a different truck. Be sure to use the proper stuff though. You don't want to replace that MAF.
the last thing i want is to have to replace something else bc of carelessness. I have to get to my fuel filter too, im pretty sure the truck has the original one since i bought it with 52k and there is 70k on it now.
The fuel filter could have trash in it then. I'd change it and clean the MAF just to be on the safe side. I usually change my fuel filters every 25K or year depending on which comes first. In my case the year comes before 25K miles does.
i put 17k miles on my truck in a little over a year (i bought it March of last year) and thats above average for me. I would never hit 25k in a year lol
I wish !!! sometimes i feel like i live in my truck ! at least its more spacious than the prelude was
