87 vs 93 - My Results

    I only run 93 in my truck... Stock on 87 I was only getting like 12-13mpg but after I got my 93 economy tune from 5 star I get 15-16.. and on long highway trips I've gotten almost 17 before...

    Hey you ever try turning down yer Fuel Output abit on ur egde?I did that a allot when i would drive in the city.I would run 89 and i would average between 17-18mpgs with my 35's.Also maybe play around with yer rpms as well.I did both and see where i averaged over a months time.Just a thot is all..

    whats a gay Edge? I have a SCT SF3. i prefer a 700 RPM setting to keep up w/ my accessories.

    lol. numbers never lie. its how i convinced the misses that diesel gets better mpg/$ than gas, which allows me to get an SD so much easier. thanks again for the elec help. time to CADD that up lol.

    I usually run level 2 on my edge with 87 but this last weekend when i went home i switched it to lvl 3 and 93 ... my gas mileage got worst only cause i get on it more cause of the power increase haha... I suffer from lead foot syndrome

    I'm running level 3 on mine now, fuel mileage is a little better, but still within the margin or error.

    But whatever, It's $133 for 30 gal of 87 and $139 for 91. $6 is worth it :peace:

    I've never run the 93 performance tune on my Predator.

    You guys may have inspired me to flush a couple tanks of premium through it and see what it's got.

    never? NEVER? all it takes is a few minutes of flash, and a new tank. hell, you could start the flash, then start to fill up, and the flash will be done bout the same time the tank is full. refueling is typically when i do my tune tweaks.
