Ok... my truck is making an odd, annoying, and emarrasing noise. Its kind of a squeak that only starts above about ten... but it gets faster with the speed of my truck and is not affected by bumps in the road. I was thinking wheel bearings? If y'all. Think that is the problem, what kind of cost am i looking at (dont have the time to tackle it myslef).
On an unrelated note, my brakes are groaning really loud. Ive replaced the front pads but there is no change... ill replace thw backs, but i dont have any confidence that will fix it. So rotors maybe?

id say something wrong with the pads or wheelbearings both easy under and hour fixes

    Ditto this.

Wheel bearings make more of a roar than a squeak. It's probably your rear pads/shoes. My rears went before the fronts did.

I had a squeak and it turned out to be the rear brakes. I had replaced both front and rear before I lifted my truck and the fronts are still good but my rears were like 10%. Should have checked them before but once I replaced them the noise went away

i have a feeling it might be u joints...my dads 2003 5.4 250 is making the same kind of noise yours is, and we pretty much have it narrowed down to u joints. simple fix.

NOT bump related thus ruling out ball joints

Well... i parked it for about an hour, then had to run across town via the highway... the sound came back half way through my trip and lasted less than two minutes before dissapearing again... so i dont know. I still have to do the rear breaks and then im going to have Ford go over the truck with a fine toothed comb before our move to MD. There is no way im letting my wife drive her on the highway for 15-18 hours without having someone certified check it out from bumper to bumper. Honestly, what bothers me the most is that the squeak and brake groan are embarrassing as hell. She still drives perfectly... a def person would think she was brand new!

    Thanks for the input homies!
