do you think 4ga wire would be sufficient enough for the big 3 upgrade?

yooooo dudes! hows **** going? been MIA for a bit. alot of late nights at work. got a new project that needs to get done before i buy any other mods. a few days ago i was fixing a light on my running board and i put my hand on my rocker panel under my drivers side and put my friggin finger right through the metal:jester: that ***** is rustin out quick.

how do i go about fixing this? i can order the panels from amazon for $70. i cant weld so i will have to have someone do that part for my but what do i cut the rocker out with? do i use a grinder with a cutting wheel?

yeah i would say some sort of cut off wheel. use some tape or something as a guide so you can cut it straight.

i ordered some 0 AWG wire and terminals. hopefully they will be here by thursday!

i just looked on LMC truck for the rocker panel. amazon doesnt sell the same part. the part is $199 from LMC so i might just buy it from there. i just gotta find someone to weld.

only thing wrong with that wire is it is OFC which will corrode a bit more in the weather and cant handle hardly as much current.

    Your welcome!

How far up does the rust go? It may be cheaper to replace the whole door?
