Ifs f250???

    I was looking at a guy at work's late 90's F250... the damn thing was IFS... when the hell did that happen??:shakehead:

    Independent Front Suspension IFS... ya know, no axle in the front... friggin CV joints and torsion bars... F150 type stuff..
    What the hell is super duty about that?

    Nothing. I always thought all super duty had a solid front end.

    technically superduties always did and do. pre 99 the superduty wasnt around. were just f250/f350 HD trucks

    True that forgot not all f250s live up to the super dooky name :poker:

    Well thats some better that they weren't called super duty, but what the hell... then the story was worse.... He said he didnt realize till he got home with the truck... I said nothing... then he added that his wife bought it and brought it home. He is now trying to lift the thing, and the issues abound... anyway, thanks for the info guys. Just caught me off guard.

    Plus f150s and mustangs are my area anyways. But that new 6.7 is nice. :poker:

    I see where this would throw you off. But at least it's better the independent front end on the Chevy hds. :facepalm:
