Ifs f250???

    At least it still has leafs too. Not Torsions... but crazy looking beast thats for sure

    Lol yea, you should see how many chevrolets break on the truck pulls. Their front ends are garbage.

    Also if sleeper weeper ever gets on you can ask him a few since he had a few f250s in that year.

    Nah.. I dont care that much, and the guy is getting laid off anyway. I just wanted to ask about the funky front end...

    if had leaf springs then it had the TTB that ford used from 1980 all the way to 1996 and the f150 and broncos, till 98 on the 250 HDs and till 86 on the 350s however in 97 and 98 ford had a f250 LD which is the same as the f150 HD with the 7 lug wheels and the same sheet metal as the 97-03 f150s they do indeed use a torsion bar system the 250 LD was dropped in 99 when the superduty was introduced

    It's actually a good front end. Not a straight axle but it works well.

    its still around. guys in the desert racing stuff call em I-beams. you can get a ton of suspension travel with em, and can be cheaper made than control arms...sometimes.

    Our LD F250 came on the F150 chassis and had the IFS. Only real diff. was the 7 lug rims, and a little stouter rear leaf pack. Could be one of these.
