    Dude you don't understand how much you helped me. I love talking about trucks and motors. Also, the would a forged non pi 5.4 be a better starting point with my PI heads on it?

    the short block doesnt matter. a forged 5.4 SB is a forged 5.4 SB.

    PI heads are better, hands down.

    compression ratio will be different I think.

    ok, after re reading the previous statement, i think i know what you are talking about.

    yes, the compression ratio will be different. it will also be pretty high. i would venture to guess higher than 10:1 CR. you dont want the CR to be very high with boost.

    Minimal differences won't matter for your build. I would pick up whatever you can get at a better price.
