do i need a pickle fork or puller or anything to change out my pittman or idler arms? the tire dude said somethin in my frontend was wiggling and it may be one of those so im gonna start replacing things one at a time mainly cuz its time and it wouldnt hurt
well if ur taking any of htat off a pickle fork will work but make sure ur replacing it if ur using a pickle fork cuz it will most likely rip the boot normally no u wont need them u just hit the spindle in the area around it with the bolt loose and it should pop loose but some times it takes more force
yea i gotcha. i was actually just looking through my LMC mag and found a pittman arm puller so now i guess my question would be is it required or not lol. but yea if im pullin it off im 99% already set on replacing it. if i order one ill go by auto zone and see if they can rent me one
yea true that. dude i just got on parts geek and realized how cheap all this crap is. i could do my whole steering assembly (pittman, idler, tie rod ends and center) for less than 200 bucks
