hahahah same here ... every now and then it goes away but most of the time it sounds like a diesel. and the creaking rear window

also dawg, i just realized we have different back doors lol. so your back door is about the same as a front door as far as the door panel. I made a write up when i replaced my assembly :

    http://www.fordfullsize.com/forum/f75/how-replace-04-08-window-motor-regulator-5433/

try this and check for anything broken. if nothing is broken then theres a chance it can be your swithc also. I found this write up too for that fix,

I know all about the diesel thing, I can't even begin to tell you how many times people come up to me and say "since when does ford offer a F-150 diesel?!"
    **** gets annoying!

Okay so my right side passenger window broke Sunday, and I finally took it to a shop today, after parts and labor I'm getting a quote for $350.... And that's just one window...
How hard is it to line up the new assembly and regulator when installing it?
I saw in redrocket's write up how to get to that part, but as far as installing it I'm a little apprehensive...

installing it is all the steps backwards haha, why'd you pay for a shop to do it?? buy the assembly for 135 and do it yourself! installing is pretty easy, just make sure you have the assembly the right way and not backwards, you may have to straighten up the window, with a little elbow grease it's not hard.
