damn dude that really sucks!! do you know if you're truck is geared?? tranny could have crapped out from turning those 35's on stock gears
I don't think it was geared at all, do u really think that would have affected the tranny that much? And would it have messed it up if I was running my edge CS on power level 2(towing)? The worst part of all this is that I leave Sunday for two weeks in Tennessee, and I won't be able to drive it until I get back. Assuming its fixed by then... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
from what i heard before gettin my gears put in, they can be pretty hard on a tranny when you got big tires and 3.55's or 3.73s
Sorry to hear bro. A few things: If you have 3.55 gears and the 35's, thats a major weak point for the tranny. Second, it sounds like you just lost all the linkage since you werent under extreme load and then all you had was neutral, then prolly only 1 right. It shouldnt be that big of a cost to fix, but I would definitely look into regearing, or atleast going w/ a smaller 35" tire. You dont need a 35x12.5. if you can find a 35x11 that would drop the weight down by about 20lbs/tire. Hope you get it worked out.
the programmer should have no affect on your tranny goin out. mostly you're transmision having to turn over those big tires
I was just saying if I remember right all of the FX4 packages came with 3.73 gears. I didn't think that 3.55s were an option on those.
