What the hell happened to my thread???????????????

Does anyone make lift springs or do I need to buy some OEM like springs and use blocks? My springs are showing their age so I am looking at new ones in the future.

While not wanting to wheel the heck out of my F150 I do want to be able to go off road a bit, but mostly the truck is a DD and errand runner.

So point being, should I just do body lift, crank up the Tbar and springs/blocks in the rear or should I look for a proper lift meaning a RCX/ProComp/other full lift kit? Is it possible to piece together a suspension lift....what are the main components used in a suspension lift.

I came from an FJ Cruiser and my wife has a Jeep XJ so I know about suspension like that....coils, coil overs, leaf springs.....the Tbar seems to be the limiting factor in the equation...I have read about getting the heavier Tbar and get a little lift but sacrifices ride quality.

Is it possible for a Tbar to get weak? I am wondering if my Tbar is getting that way, drivers side is cranked nearly all the way and the passenger is less than half and the truck sits normal and level....I don't know what the deal is there, but I am just looking for some guidance, not a pissing match. I am not looking to fit super huge tires on my truck, I am not looking to see how tall I can get my truck, I am just looking to look a bit more aggressive and get a little bigger tire and still be able to do a little off roading and still be able to pull trailers, haul stuff and use the truck like a truck.

If you have any input on this I would greatly appreciate it. I don't care how big of tires you can put on your truck, I don't care how big of a lift you are going to get. I am just looking for some input, knowledge and advice.

    Thanks.

If you want cheap go for a 3" BL and a T bar cranked (maxed out) with a 2" Add a Leaf from rough country ....it will be dope and you can do 35's (and Still work it off road)

ya its all personal preference and how deep of a wallet you have. you can get a body lift for 250 and add a leafs are like 100 and or do a 5'' rcx for 900.
