Thinking about painting.

Hey guys, I've been debating on painting my brush guard, headache rack, and maybe part of my rims red on my black truck. Any thoughts? I can't decide if it would look okay or just look odd.

 

i think that might be alright. is your truck flat black or gloss black? as long as you dont make the red toooooooo bright i dont think it will stick out like a sore thumb

 

Yeah it's just the stock gloss paint, I also have the headache rack and grill guard gloss black for now.

 

hmmm i dont know what to tell ya man. its hard to picture what exactly it would look like. i dont think red would be horrible

 

I agree, I couldn't imagine how it would look either that's why I figured I would ask on here haha.

personally, i wouldnt do it. the wheels, MAYBE, but not the brush guard or the headache rack. i think it would stand out too much.

 

You're probably right, how about small accents, like maybe a stripe or two? I want it to stand out but not so much that it looks ridiculous.

 

depends on what kind of stripes you are thinking of...im not really a fan of racing stripes on trucks.

 

Nah not racing stripes, I probably won't paint the truck at all just the extras. I guess ill just play around sometime and see what I come up with, I can always cover it up if it doesn't turn out how I like.
