Valve cover gasket replacement.

    Anyone done it? I gotta replace the passenger side, sick of my truck leaking. Any tips appreciated :waytogo:

    its kinda a pain in the butt cause you gotta pull so much off , pretty straight forward though. what caused it to leak? have you tried tightnening the bolts slightly? hop on summitracing an buy some of the frpp gaskets. never had any problems with them.

    I guess I could try tightening the bolts. Couldn't hurt. But with over 177k miles I figured the gasket just wore out.

    yea, sometime vibrations can loosen those bolts some so trying to tighten might not hurt. if it works then itll save you a ton of time
