It's seem lime a matter of just taking the proper masking steps(and prep) to make it turn out right

 

The hardest part to this is the actual baking of the light to get the adhesion to wear off and allow you to pull apart the lens from the housing. After that, its cake. Just make sure you have lots of clamps, and remember to set the lamp in the over just like you would a turkey, bottom rack, nothing else in the oven. And make sure its a pretty even distance from all the oven sides. I'm gonna attempt to open mine up this weekend to install some AAC Halo Rings.

I know someone who did this, but can't remember his name. Turned out nice though.

Or you can get a set off eBay for less then 90 like I did
