G2 gears aren't bad

 

Truck has come out great. I think it will look finished once you get those back fenders painted. Of course we all know, we'll never be done modding our trucks. We find a way to do something to them. haha Great video too. That Chevy colorado is also pretty sick.

 

Any cage work or is this for looks

 

Ya they should go for paint next week when I get the tires mounted. Excited to see the overall look. And no interior cage work. once its all up to par I may get the ext cab part caged just in case but its in no way a race truck or a race Prerunner. It is just for looks I guess you can say but it gets used within its limits. And ya that Colorado is super super nice. That's my buddies. We run local meets here in Las Vegas.

Summit or Jegs can hook you up on some gears, G2 and Yukon are what most guys end up using.

Well we have a meet coming up soon so I am trying to do some stuff to the truck by then. Here are some updated. A few days ago I took off my bedsides because they went for paint and some minor body work. since they were completely off I redid a few mounts for them and sprayed a rubber undercoat into the entire fender well this time. I also have stripped the inside and cleaned Jr real well. Then went ahead and ditched the rubber floor and put carpet. Even carpeted my little cup holders and storage on the doors lol. Got some floor mats for now. But I just need my seats redone or some nice seat covers etc next. The truck was an old work truck and had a lot of stains.

 

I would drive around like that hahaha you have glass fenders or just the factory ones?
