After a few different searches Im thinking my issue is clogged cats. Im going to pick up a couple maggy uni hi flows and have the muffler shop here weld everything up so it clears out that issue.
Sure hope that fixes it sent from my galaxys3 while you iphone users wait in line for the new (old) technology
me too. I really wanna drive it and get to work on the other things I want to do to it haha. Especially with winter coming up, i want to be able to utilize the 4WD
Well after injectors swap, TB cleaning, TB elbow cleaning and IACV cleaning along with seafoam it seems to be running a lot better. Its still a tad sluggish on acceleration but Im hoping after a trans filter/fluid change it will take care of that.
Try swapping out the pcv valve for the acceleration. I did the other day and what a difference. Its a whopping $4 @ autozone sent from area 51
Long story short, I had a misfire issue and after replacing the plugs and wires and injectors and cleaning the TB and EGR I still had a bit of an issue. Using the carb cleaner spray check method I figured out my intake manifold gaskets were bad. Upon removing the intake this morning I found I had been chasing the wrong cylinder all along. The manifold gasket was bad at the #1 cylinder when I was thinking it was the #4 or #7. Also I want to apologize to f150 owners abroad for even driving this thing. I took the t stat housing off and the coolant that came out looked like coca cola So Im glad Im going through and replacing all fluids after this escapade.
