the bracket, once tight (should be a 1.25" pipe) it would be tight. but with a small pipe its loose. its a solid mount and doesnt contort much.

You need a spacer pipe between the pipe and bracket like a sleeve and tack weld it to tje pipe

 

Get some 1/2" thick rubber strips

 

^ thats what i did, found an old tire on the side of the road and used stripes from the inside of it.


And boom goes the dynamite.
