Think I remember reading that some of y'all replaced your instrument cluster lights with LEDs. Who did y'all get the lights from to do this? I have lost half of the lights on my tach and figured I would just swap all of them with LEDs.

Superbrightleds.com or ebay. I haven't done it but I looked into it.

I need to fix mine also. Two bulbs out on the tach.
My friend's '02 F250 that we had apart has leds built into
the instrument cluster on some of his idiot lights.

I've read they are 194 series bulbs but haven't
crawled under the dash to see.
Some threads I've read say you have to remove the
    instrument cluster to change them.
    Not sure.

Thanks. I did a little reading and you got to pull the cluster.

I went ahead and got some white overlays for it too.

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
When swapping to led there are other things needed than just the led. For instance you'll need to remove the green film on the back or the color led will be green or a mix with green if you went with a color other than white. Also you will need to swap out ALL your needles for a set of 01 Exploder needles as your current needles won't allow the led to illuminate. I did a write up for my lariat cluster on my .5T if you wanna see pics and stuff.

Another thread says be sure to get leds that are dimmable.
The capability of dimming. Non dimming leds will only work
with the dimmer knob at full power.

Leds are polarity sensitive, so if they don't come on rotate
them 180 degrees and put back in their socket.

^ vleds.com has them too. I haven't seen anyone do a 250 cluster, but quite a few have done the F150s
