^its so I can have more bed hooks to tie things down (like icechests, spare gear that wont fit in my toolbox, gas cans, helmet boxes, camping gear etc), and holds my inbed toolbox. I didnt want to drill holes in my bed to bolt it down. I also wanted some lights so I can see in my bed at night. Im sure in the future I will possibly have 2 spares, and I can have a bolt on spare tire holder onto that frame.

I really want to build one of these one day:









I believe my bed cage would be strong enough to hold the tube to do the chase rack, so the bottom of it would be square and the top would be round. would come back to where the tailgate supports, then down and across to the swuare tube. thats why I used all 6 of the bed bolts because I knew later on I would be adding to it.

 

That chase rack is hot. Side note, im gonna have you do my shat when im ready for the rook rack. Since i want supports inside the bed/under cap to support weight.

x2. Love the look. also love the look of KMC Enduro's but Ive heard they have had problems with them.

 

does anyone know how to make fiberglass parts? like making a part for your truck, be it headlight, taillight, part of the dash...etc

really all I need to know is what would I need to make the mold out of?

 

Google search it man. I think you can make a mold out of just about anything, aslong as you have something there to keep it from adhering to what you're making.

 

yyeeahhhh gotta figure that out.

 

what are you going to be trying to make?

 

Use foam to shape it, take into account the thickness of mat your gonna lay an build up. Fiberglass it then break away the foam an use I think it's acetone to dissolve the rest of the foam

 

foam? what kind of foam? got a link? and Im thinkin taillights.. so Justin you know what kind of base Im workin with.
