How's it going y'all, I've always been a Chevy guy and for only being 25 I've had 12 Chevy trucks, and almost as many cars but I ran across a deal on a 66' F100 that I just couldn't pass up! And seeing how ive always liked that body style I figured id give it a shot. Basically it had been sitting at someone's house for years, and was down in a hole with a ridiculous steep driveway that lead to a gravel road. All they wanted was the truck to be gone, so I jumped on it. But the catch was being that it was on a gravel rd and a crazy driveway I had to drive the truck out because there is no way I coul have got my trailer down to the truck. Like I said its a 1966 F100 short bed with a 352 and 3-on-the-tree, and to my surprise even after sitting for years, a fresh battery, fresh gas, and some starter fluid fired it right up. The clutch is in serious need of adjustment but feels good and strong, because when I started my way up their drive it started to stall, so I pulled in the clutch heel and toed it trying to hold it on the hill but eventually said F it, floored it and popped the clutch. It didn't slip at all, just caught and lit em up. The motor feels pretty dang ballsy, could obviously use a good tune up, along with a clean gas tank but the body is pretty straight. It ought to make a nice little project and that's why I'm hear. I'm pretty good at just about anything mechanically but I've never worked on a ford so I'm sure as I go on with it I might have a question or 2, but anyways here she is! Yes it is a 2b carb, and correct me if I'm wrong but from my understanding the 352 is basically a 390 with a smaller bore? If that's the case it sounds like these 352's got a little potential in em. Ideally I'd like to pull it, freshen everything up, maybe put a aluminum high rise with a 4b, get rid of those insanely restricted manifolds for some shorty headers and run a x pipe setup. I think with that setup it should be pretty dang healthy little motor, which it dont feel to bad right now even with the nasty fuel and timing being way off.

Anyway I can find out what it came with stock for the final drive ratio?
