I 1000% agree with you. If it weren't for the two tone paint, I LOVE the interior on the KR's. :peace:

    :jester:

That's what I mean. My step dad bought a 1998 Lariat back in 98. I watched his leather basically fall apart before I bought my truck in 2002.

i can get past the paintjob to rest my booty in one of those absolutely heavenly chairs. it was the one reason i didnt want dad to get rid of our old 250.

250k miles and the seats were just getting broken in. they outlasted the 6.0 :jester:

I'd consider buying a used one that needed paint. I'd simply go back with a single color and RAWK it hard. :pedobear:

I never liked platinums for the same reason, but a family friend got a black 2012 f150 and OMD it's ridiculously nice and gets 22mpg (not sure what engine he has) completely changed my mind on the platinums I like them now

That being said, I've always been in love with the KR interior

It's not only the tailgate I have a problem with, it's the wheels, and the grille. I'm not saying they're not super nice and luxurious, I know they are. I looked at one in person at the local Ford dealer. Incredibly nice truck. I'm just saying if I'm paying that kind of bread for a new pickup, my ass has to absolutely, positively love EVERY inch of that beast. :jester: Where it stands, the new Platinum is less then the Limited. With the Limited I do in fact love every inch of those trucks. :waytogo:
