    and just FYI, cheap projectors like those, suck. and are more often than not simply halong projectors, even if they say they are HID projectors.

    im on another forum where lots of people did these ebay projector lights. then one day a member did real retro's to his and blew everyones mind how much better they were, for only a few bucks more, and a little bit of time.

    true, most of these projectors are just a halogen bulb, however all of the headlamps I have shown all include a set of ballasts and HID bulb, 4300k specifically. your low beam is a HID projector, however your high beam is a halogen, unless you upgrade that H7 bulb to a HID, in which case you would need another set of ballasts.

    i agree, for about the same coin, i could do a retro fit, but do you have the time to do a retro fit? i don't. i have a pregnant fiance', DIY list that I am trying to knock out before the baby is born so we can sell the house and move closer to work... w/ that said, my time is highly valuable these days and therefore I would gladly pay for an already completed set, than spend a whole day/weekend doing mine...

    the DSG in the Headlamps is quite sexy... few guys on the diesel forum have it and it looks sharp! the problem w/ retro fitting is that you still have that big dumb reflector inbetween blinking and headlamp. all of these i had listed remove that and replace w/ DRL's. I would definitely do a retro if I could retro something like that myself, but that is redoing the housing COMPLETELY, and I definitely dont have time for that.
