In all seriousness, I cranked my '97 all the way up, got 2-1/2" and never had a problem (WINNING). I wheeled it, put 75k miles on it, and never had to replace anything. I absolutely understand that it does wear parts out prematurely, but it's not the rapid rate at which some people claim. I guess it depends on how well your front end has been maintained/total miles on the (probably) factory components. Also depends on how you drive. If you beat the crap out of your rig, **** is going to break anyway. I drive like a gentleman most of the time, so maybe that was my saving grace...
Chris you can run stock wheels with the RCX no problem , RCX ftw and also ive had my tbars on blowcaine maxxed since the day i bought it , all ive ever had to replace is my idler arm ($50)
RCX ftmfw! With any level or lift it's going to put more stress on suspension components it's part of owning a leveled/lifted truck. DO IT NOWWWW
Not on any of the three T-bar cranked vehicles I've owned. If a boot tears, it needed replaced anyway. I never wheel hadcore in my DD though. I choose to have a dedicated wheeler for those purposes. Not to say I haven't put them through their paces though....
hey you order that lift yet? btw we got a new truck at work...its an 01 7700...wish it was 4x4 you still got questions about the 7700 vs regular f150 leafs?
