i got a question guys, so since the lift my turning radius is horrible, i can't park in a normal parking lot without making a two point turn. the knuckle has these bump stops on it and of course they hit, i was wondering if i could grind down these turning stops so i could get my turning radius back?
if you did that i would imagine it would buck when you cut it too tight but other than that i cant think of a reason it wouldnt work
Personally I park in the back were it is empty damn jackasses like yo ding doors Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
lol well i don't park in the back...... i like having a turning radius. i didn't wana cut them off i just wanted to cut down about 1/4"
You just gotta get used to it. Learn how to compensate for it. It took me a while but I've finally got the whole "takin a football field to turn" thing.
Only thing I can think of is it may push ur axle angle to the extreme, and pushing bigger tires more strain... But I would do it And boom goes the dynamite.
i mean with the level i could turn to full lock or until the power steering started whinning. i don't see why i shouldn't be able to turn full lock with the lift. in theory all the suspension is whithin stock specs
I wouldn't touch em, just learn to park with em.you run the risk of over extending things an harsh angles. While 1/4" doesn't sound like a lot that's at the back and at a 1/4" extra movement there means like 2" more movement of the front of your tire... That math ain't right but it's the concept of it
