Well first day I had no noise at all. Second day I put it in reverse and give it a little gas to back it off a hill, I had 2 clunks/pops from the drive shaft?? Diff area? now I have grinding on very low speeds like 5-10 mph when I'm rolling through like a Walmart parking lot and when I'm going 65-70 I get vibrations. Also when slowing down from 40 mph kinda fast it'll make a quick howl/err noise like as if I drove on those bumps on the side of a highway. They are very fast though as the truck shifts down. On acceleration between 40-50 Ill get a howl and if I kind of get on it ill get the same clunk as it did when I put it in reverse. after reading and researching I'm thinking maybe bad preload or overtightened something in the diff or my 2 piece drive shaft?

I did have the diff fluid replaced and according to the place I took it to it was a quart low. I'm gonna be pissed if it screwed up my gears.

Gears are really tricky to get right takes tons of measurements an know how an if they didn't take care it'll do exactly as you said I'd take it back. It took me 8 hrs to do mine in the mustang including running an pulling the pumpkin an checking an adjusting again. All companies will have specific ways to break in their gears so you need to follow those too. Like driving 5 miles let cool drive 10 miles let cool random things like that

Yea, I know. I'm just curious if my u joints went bad. Cause I had no noise the first day and drove it around with no problems the second day until I had to put it in reverse and give it some gas.

Yea my manual said that you'd have to readjust an check all the measurement after a little while of driving
