Ok so, I put 39" Mickey T baja belted on my rig and I couldn't go over 20mph LOL I would lose stuff out of the cupholders and door pockets.... Yeah it was that bad Haha

This was happening as a slight shimmy here and there with my 33" tires. then I moved up to 37" tires and it got bad when I hit a bump but was settled with a little pressure on the steering wheel...

Then I put the 39s on and Holy Hell!!! I seriously hit 20 mph and had to pull over and stop, every time!! the tires balanced out, my truck was aligned a few weeks ago and the steering box is as tight as can be

Soooo, I found that my idler arm had a little plaly in it, swapped it out for a lifetime warranty one $109.00 from Napa and man did that help... I could feel the differance right away just pulling out of the driveway... So I got er goin 45 no probs but depending on how I hit a bump around 35 she might just go crazy or she might not Haha well I still got a bad lower ball joint so I'm sure that'll help replacin that tomorrow

And the dual steering stabilizer is on it's way via UPS Hopefully this will fix the rest of the wobbles if not It's pitman and tie rod ends but those feel tight, tight

    I'll keep ya posted! :waytogo:

Hey Batman what's the best way to check your uppers??? I've pushed on the top of the tires, jacked er up n wiggled, put a pry bar against the frame and gave em a wiggle up n down... I'm guessing the uppers are tight... I got a lower that has 1/4" of play up n down that I just did 6 months ago so I'll be getting a new one to install tomorrow

I think we've talked about this but your idler arm and pitman arm all play a roll in this....

jack your truck up till the wheels are just in good contact with the groound but not fully resting on the ground...take a prybar and put between the tire and floor and wiggle...that will check it or you can jack it all the way up and grab the top of the tire and the botom and give it a jiggle...either way will tell you which one is bad...i know both sides need it on mine..upper and lower

Yep you and I spoke about this on another forum... I replaced the idler arm and it made a big difference! But she's still shakin here and there so I'm one step closer... I might do the pitman for piece of mind for $33 bucks, no big deal

Thanks Man, Yeah they're tight up top then... I did everything I could to get em to wiggle to no avail hahaha so that's good... I think replacing the bad lower will do er some good... and ditchin the single stabilizer for a dual stabilizer that Abe suggested might do it...

Ok so I got the dual stabilizer installed and replaced the lower ball joint on the drivers side that was bad... still got the wobbles but it was much better so I lowered the front end 1/2" and no more wobbles!!! Phew! Before the dual stabilizer I had lowered it 11/2" riding hot rod style and still had it bad.

I'm trying to come up with a way to either lower the centerlink or raise the tie rod near the knuckle so I can level er back out. With the dual stabilizer there's not much room to lower the centerlink now so it'll probably be heims and misalignment spacers on the tie rods

Ok so here's the deal... once I saw 99green99's truck runnin 40s cranked up I knew I had something else wrong and I'm sick of looking at my truck raked down in the front! If he can run that with the same setup I should be able to run my 39s or 33s for that matter haha
so I finally got some help and my girls cousin shook the wheel for me and I found a bad rod end, I replaced all 4 and cranked er back up and I'm still I'm having issues... what am I missing!?
I've rotated the tires (its done this through 3 sets 33s, 37s, 39s), replaced wheel bearings, idler arm, lower ball joints, 4 tie rod ends, dual stabilizer, and I'm still having wobble issues bad, and I'm not even as cranked as 99green!

Help Lol, I'm gonna give er another shake down tomorrow... its better if I lower it but it still feels like it wants to go wild, I should be able to crank er up and run it
Again this is only if I hit a bump just right it goes out of control. I can go 60mph hitting bumps and its fine sometimes, its always fine on smooth roads, but occasionally ill hit the right bump and crap! I gotta pull over
