Had a new battery installed on Saturday and for some reason my mpg's dropped down to zero miles per gallon. Do you have to reset it manually or does it reset it self?????

if the battery dies or is unhooked from the truck the computer will reset itself, just like it resets all your radio stations.

Is it just the display? When you disconnect the battery it erases all the electronic stuff. You probably had to reset all your radio stations too, right?

Drive around awhile and see if it goes up

I understand that. But it gave me reading of 0 mpg's. Will it go back up on its own or do it need to be set manually by the driver.

If it doesn't start going up after a bit, then I would manually reset it.
