I have an exhaust leak at my passenger side manifold and I plan on having it fixed some time soon. I was just wondering how many of you are running headers and which brands would you recommend? I have the 5.4 3v. I figured since the passenger side is leaking, it probably won't be long and the driverside will start so I was considering getting headers to just replace both sides.

    Thoughts?

Vano was running some shorties Gibson's on his 4.6L. Not too man people here run non stock headers that I know of.

I got some long tubes from pace setters coming in for my 5.4L

I liked my gibson's but i was pretty bummed that i almost cracked the collector bell after just 40k. that damn inside weld is what went bad. but i loved the performance they added, and sound. a PIA to install/remove i'll say that as well.

yea its been wet and cold and i'm taking care of a sick pregnant woman. I should have that out soon this week bro. but trust me, when you see all the extra's aside from the headers i'm hopin it will be worth it for ya.

I installed a Pacesetter header on a 92 Escort GT we use to have. It lasted over 135k miles and more then that from what I was told. I traded it with 145k on it the header was still in good shape. Pacesetter makes good stuff for the price. :waytogo:

I agree. They looked and seemed solid. And i liked the fact i got to keep my oem exhaust for now; as cash was tight at the time.
