Question for you all... I am going to replace the leaf springs on my 94 f150 4x4... anyone have any good or bad experiences buying them online? or should I get them locally? ALSO...my rear spring code is "I" and I can't seem to find that anywhere. Thinking of putting a set of 5 leaves...experiences doing this or 3/4t springs? ALSO... poly or rubber bushings?

There is a place in Des Moines by the name of Merrill Axle. You can look then up, been around forever. pretty much invented the alignment machine. old style your of place, but man, I would trust that place 100%. They do great work and actually care about the customer, probably why they have been around so long...anyway, I think they make leaf springs. A little higher than what I find online, but I c.d.s. just do in and pick them up and if I have any issues...they are right there. That's worth something. kinda thinking that's what I might do. I I'm thinking I may get 5 leaf packs, a little stiffer, but might raise the back up. I just put 3/4 ton could on the front last spring, so if I go with 5 leaf....May need to raise the front again. decisions decisions...

picked up my new springs...can't wait to get all this suspension work done. nice thing about buying from s local axle shop is they laid then out before I took em...the arches just didn't quite match, do they tweaked then a tad for me do they are perfect. if I had got them online, I certainly couldn't have done that myself. May not be able to get to it though until NEXT weekend. to much other stuff to do. argh...
