    I learned using a tiny circle technique but I switch between about 3 patterns using flux core at work lol. A lot of people don't realize that welding for the most part is a slow process and unless your running crazy wire speed you should move slowly and work the puddle making sure you penetrate both the workpiece and base metal

    i remember when i had my friend showing me how to weld my rocker panel, he told me to let the puddle build up and then slowly move. i understand the concept, i just gotta get the hang of it.

    Yea practice is the best way, an you'll find your own little technique. Very rarely do two people have identical techniques an you can always slightly tell your welds from someone elses

    yea its addicting lol ive been trying to find stuff to weld around the house hahaha.

    next project will have to be making a bumper but i will need to improve on my welds no doubt.

    i took your guys advice and tips on welding. my welds look a lot better and there is a lot less splatter. i was able to get some stacking too. ill get a pic for yall in a little while. i had to stop welding for the night, the girlfriend is here:lol2:
